Let me introduce you to Jared Asher, the heartbeat of this band.
Jared is aptly nicknamed Animal. A throwback to the wild, barbaric character “Animal” from The Muppets, who played drums for Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. But although Jared’s stage persona is similarly bombastic, that’s where the similarities end. For starters, he has a much broader vocabulary than “beat drums, beat drums.” Here are a few other things you might find interesting:
-
Jared has drumming in his blood, having played since the age of two. Everything around him turned into a drum—no pots and pans were safe. Riding in the front seat of the car required caution due to the imaginary drum set being played on your back. With a father who is also a drummer, it might be genetic, but Jared continues to live, breathe, and eat drumming to this day.

2. He attended his first concert at the tender age of 4, tagging along with his avid concert-going parents to see Jethro Tull. The ringing telephone on stage left a lasting impression on him.
3. One of his favorite bands growing up was the original lineup of KISS. He loved the sound, the energy, and, of course, the theatrics of the show. He draws inspiration from Keith Moon, John Bonham, Joey Krammer, Peter Criss, and others.

4. Jared is far from a one-hit wonder. His entrepreneurial spirit has driven him to pursue numerous ventures. He designed, built, and sold tickets for his own haunted wood trails during Halloween. As word spread, others began hiring him to create theirs as well.
5. Jared is also a certified chef and previously owned his own catering business. (Yes, he cooks for us all the time, and we are spoiled.) His favorite gigs involved catering backstage for bands at various venues in Indiana and Kentucky and for the Indianapolis Colts. He attended many great shows and occasionally had the chance to chat with the performers.
Now that we're friends, reach out and say hi! Send us an email and tell Jared how much you appreciate his contribution to this band or whatever else you find interesting. We hope to hear from you soon!
